Bikes & Blues 2008~The Photos!

On April 5th over 750 bikers from in and around Volusia County, FL got together to ride for a cure. A cure for childhood cancer.

The event, Bikes and Blues with Mickey Jones to benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Mickey Jones along with Big Mike Griffin and Bubba Baker joined forces with Rock Hartley for the 3rd year in a row for this particular ride out of the Iron Horse Saloon in Ormond Beach.

The ride, police escorted headed to A1A, followed the beach north to Highbridge road and into the famous Ormond Loop through a beautiful canopy of ancient oak trees and back to the Iron Horse, 23 miles in all taking about 50 minutes to complete. The riders were also treated to a fly over by the Spruce Creek Gaggles, a team of retired pilots from the Spruce Creek area of Daytona Beach.

Once back at the Iron Horse Saloon, the riders were treated to the best biker blues courtesy of Big Mike Griffin, raffles, auctions and some really great weather.

Between the ride and Golf Classic that was held the next day over $40,000 was raised for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!
